Privacy policy
Last updated 2026-10-03
Brewlearn is built to teach you Java, not to collect your data. The short version: we don't have accounts, we don't run analytics, we don't show ads, and we never sell or share personal information.
What the app stores
Your learning progress (XP, streak, which concepts you've learned and when to review them, achievements and settings) is saved on your device.
iCloud sync
If you're signed in to iCloud, the app copies that progress to your own iCloud account using Apple's iCloud key-value storage, so it appears on your other devices. Brewlearn's developers cannot see or access this data. It is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. You can turn off iCloud for Brewlearn in your device settings at any time.
Game Center
If you're signed in to Game Center, your scores (such as weekly XP and Daily Challenge scores) and achievements are sent to Apple Game Center to power leaderboards. Other players see your Game Center nickname. This is optional and handled by Apple.
Notifications
Study reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. No notification data leaves your device. You choose whether to allow them.
Analytics, ads and tracking
The app contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising and no tracking. We do not use your data to track you across apps or websites.
This website
brewlearn.app is a static website. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics. To display fonts, your browser loads them from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of that request.
Children
Brewlearn does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Deleting your data
Use Profile → Reset progress in the app to erase your progress on every device, or delete the app. Data in iCloud can also be removed in your Apple ID settings.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above. Questions? Email hello@brewlearn.app.
